Freelance Business Month is a series of events for the freelance ecosystem, hosted by the Freelance Business Community. The event spans the whole month of October and includes inspiring and informative sessions for freelancers at any stage of their career. Freelance Business Month is the epicentre of cultivating ideas, knowledge, skills sharing, and learning about starting and growing a freelance business.
2024 was the first year that BBTP got involved with Freelance Business Month. Besides attending several inspiring online sessions, we also hosted a webinar of our own, entitled "C-level freelancing for Beginners: How to jump into interim management". The presentation included insights from BBTP surveys, interviews with different types of C-level professionals, and conversations with key stakeholders in the interim management ecosystem in Europe.
In 2025, BBTP is happy to announce that we will increase our participation. This year, we are excited to host two events— one webinar and one in-person networking event in Helsinki, co-hosted with our partner, Ferovalo.
This session explores how to move beyond the assignment by mentoring teams, creating systems, and transferring knowledge that lasts. We’ll show real-world examples of interim leaders creating “ecosystem value” and uncover the advantages of being part of a network: bigger contracts, repeat engagements, peer learning, and access to hidden opportunities.
This meet-up will be a great opportunity to network with other independent professionals in the Helsinki region. Some light refreshments will be provided for attendees. The event is open to interim managers, board professionals, and other freelancing experts.
