What is the current status of interim managers across Europe? What are their key roles, successes, challenges? Our annual survey is designed to delve into these questions and more.
Started in 2018 by our first partner, Ferovalo, Interim Manager Pulse is an initiative to help interim managers reflect on their recent experiences and explore key trends in interim management today.

Who is the survey for?
Interim Manager Pulse 2025 is for all freelancing Interim Managers in Europe, including interim CFOs, CMOs, Change Managers, and other relevant interim roles.
You do not have to be a Best Best Talent Platform Member to take the survey, so it can be shared widely with friends and colleagues throughout the continent. The survey is also anonymous, so respondents cannot be connected to their answers.
What kind of questions can I expect?
Like its past iterations, Interim Manager Pulse 2025 contains questions regarding your field of specialty, how long you have freelanced, and the average amount invoiced in a year. It also asks questions about your current or latest assignment. Lastly, the survey includes a section dedicated to a relevant topic that changes each year. This year, the third section is dedicated to the growth of interim management.
How long is the survey?
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and it can be filled out on a desktop computer or mobile device.
Where will the results be published?
The survey will be open for submissions until the 1st of December, 2025. A summary of the results will be published publicly in the first part of 2026.
At the end of the survey, respondents will also have the option to request their own copy of the results by giving their email address. For those who do not request a copy straight to their inbox, they can find the results via social media, through BBTP’s member newsletter, and made readily available on our website and the platform itself.
